After a Year of Working Towards ISMS Implementation to the ISO 27001:2013, Mojo's ISMS Has Attained the ISO 27001:2013 Seal of Approval

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 22, 2016) - Mojo Networks, the modern WiFi platform for delivering prolific connectivity, announced today that it has attained ISO 27001:2013 certification for its information security management systems (ISMS). Mojo has been working towards ISMS implementation to the ISO 27001:2013 standard over the past 12 months. Attaining the ISO 27001:2013 seal of approval is the culmination of this effort and endorsement of the effectiveness of Mojo's ISMS.

ISO 27001:2013 is an international standard that defines process for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving ISMS in the organization. It also defines security controls covering personnel, physical security, logical security, security systems and business continuity. Accredited auditors perform assessment of the organization's ISMS to confirm compliance with the ISO 27001:2013 requirements before certificate can be issued.

"The ISO 27001:2013 certification for ISMS demonstrates that protecting clients data is paramount to enterprises and service providers that have customer data in the cloud," said David Monahan, Research Director, Security and Risk Management at Enterprise Management Associates. "With this rigorous auditing process and certification Mojo Networks shows its commitment to protecting client data."

Mojo Networks implements ISMS in all its operations and at all its locations to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of information. The ISMS covers people, processes and IT systems by applying a risk management approach. It is designed to ensure secure information processing environment for employees, customers, partners and stakeholders. The ISO 27001:2013 certification tests and confirms the strength and effectiveness of these measures, and is the kind of trusted approval sought by enterprises that work with cloud providers and those that are moving to the cloud managed WiFi.

"There is increasing interest from large enterprises and service providers to move to cloud managed WiFi," said Dr. Hemant Chaskar, CISO of Mojo Networks. "These market verticals put strong emphasis on the security architecture of the cloud and the security processes at the vendor that operates and manages this cloud. Obtaining ISO 27001:2013 certification for ISMS is a living proof of the rigor of security that Mojo deploys in all its operations including cloud, engineering, customer support and administrative supporting functions."

Mojo ISMS was audited by the BSI Group and has certificate number IS 647985.
